Terms of Service
Last updated August 13, 2026
These terms cover your use of the June Analytics software. They are written to be read, not to be survived. If anything here is unclear, ask us before you agree to it.
What the service is
June Analytics is software that connects to your accounting system, reads your financial reports, and presents metrics, forecasts and statements built from them. It is a reporting and analysis tool.
It is not professional advice
This is the most important clause on the page. June produces analysis, not advice. Nothing the product outputs is accounting, audit, tax, legal or investment advice, and no output should be filed, published or relied on without a qualified professional reviewing it and taking responsibility for it.
Forecasts are projections built from assumptions. They describe possible futures, not certain ones, and they will sometimes be wrong.
If you are a firm using June for client work, the professional judgment and the sign-off remain yours.
Your account
You need an account to use June, and you are responsible for what happens under it. Keep your password to yourself, turn on two-factor authentication, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.
You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and you must have the authority to accept these terms on behalf of the firm you are signing up.
Connecting QuickBooks
When you connect a QuickBooks company you confirm you are entitled to grant access to that company's data. If the books belong to a client, that means you have their permission.
June reads from QuickBooks and does not write to it. Your QuickBooks account remains governed by your agreement with Intuit, and Intuit is not a party to these terms.
You can disconnect a company at any time from the settings page, or revoke June's access from within Intuit.
Your data stays yours
You own your data and your clients' data. We do not acquire any ownership of it by processing it.
You grant us permission to store and process that data for the limited purpose of providing the service to you. That permission ends when you end your account, subject to the retention period described in our privacy policy.
Acceptable use
Some things are not allowed, and they are the obvious ones:
- Accessing data belonging to a firm or a client you are not entitled to see.
- Attempting to break, overload or probe the service, outside a security disclosure you have agreed with us.
- Reselling or redistributing the service without a written agreement.
- Uploading anything unlawful, or using June to help someone commit fraud.
Availability
We work to keep June running and we will give notice of planned maintenance where we can. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and parts of the product depend on Intuit's systems, which are outside our control.
Features marked beta or coming soon are exactly that. They may change or be withdrawn.
Fees
Where a paid plan applies, the price, the billing period and what is included are set out when you subscribe. We will give notice before changing the price of an existing subscription.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using June and close your account whenever you like.
We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms, or where we are required to by law. If we do, we will tell you why and give you a reasonable opportunity to export your data unless the law prevents it.
Warranties and liability
June is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we do not give implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some consumer protections cannot be waived, and nothing here takes them away from you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights we will tell you before it takes effect, and continuing to use June after that means you accept the updated terms.
