Full-service monthly bookkeeping, done by CPAs.
Categorization, reconciliations, and a real monthly close, delivered in-house rather than offshored. Books clean for forecasts, raises, and filing tax.
Read-only access
We can look, not touch. Your books can't be modified by June.
A close, not a categorization pass.
Full-service monthly bookkeeping performed by our own team in Canada.
Transaction categorization
Every transaction coded to a chart of accounts that reflects how your business actually works.
Bank & credit card reconciliations
All accounts reconciled monthly. Discrepancies chased down, not left in a suspense account.
AR and AP maintenance
Invoices and bills tracked and aged, so you always know who owes you and what is owed.
Monthly close
Accruals, prepaids, deferrals, and adjusting entries. A close a CPA is willing to sign, not a bank feed that balances.
Financial statements
P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow delivered monthly with a short written note on what moved and why.
Year-end file
A clean, documented year-end package, which if we also prepare your T2 means no scramble and no second bill to tidy up.
Three things most bookkeeping services don't do.
CPAs do the work.
Not offshore data entry with a Canadian invoice on top. The people closing your month are the people who could defend it.
The close feeds a forecast.
Because we run forecasting on the same books, a clean close immediately produces a refreshed cash forecast rather than a report you file away.
Read-only by default.
Our software takes read-only access to your accounting platform. Where write access is needed for the close, it is explicit, scoped, and logged.
Scope
Full-service monthly bookkeeping for Canadian corporations, performed in-house. If you have messy historicals, we'll clean them up for you.
Bookkeeping FAQ
What does full-service bookkeeping include?
Transaction categorization, bank and credit card reconciliations, AR and AP maintenance, month-end adjusting entries, and monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow) with a written summary of what changed. It is a full close, not just a categorization pass on your bank feed.
Do you do catch-up or cleanup bookkeeping?
Yes. If you are behind, or the books have been done in a hurry, we bring them current and get them into a state we would be willing to sign. For companies who have been doing it themselves, that is usually where we start.
Is the work done in Canada?
Yes. Bookkeeping is performed in-house by our own team. We do not offshore the work, which is why our pricing is positioned against Canadian bookkeeping firms rather than against the cheapest option available.
How much does bookkeeping cost?
Monthly fees are based on transaction volume, number of accounts, and complexity. Payroll, multiple entities, inventory, and foreign currency all move the number. We quote a flat monthly fee at the discovery call after looking at your actual books.
Can you also prepare my corporate tax return?
Yes, and it is the most common pairing. When we keep the books and prepare the T2, year-end stops being an event: the file is already clean, nothing needs reconstructing, and tax planning conversations happen in the fall while you can still act on them.
Do I need to switch accounting software?
Not necessarily. QuickBooks Online is where our integration is deepest and where onboarding is fastest. If you are on something else, tell us at the discovery call and we will be straight about whether it works today or whether a move makes sense.
Let us look at your books first.
We'll tell you honestly what shape they're in and what it costs to keep them right, before you commit to anything.
